Small Business Coaching – Energizing Change

Greetings,

I’m working late at my office. It’s almost 12 midnight. After three years, almost to the day, of having boards I wanted to use to create a series of three Visions Boards, one each for myself, Conscious Millionaire, and Conscious World Foundation, the youth leadership non-profit I founded.

So, tonight is the night.

Truth is, I probably wouldn’t be here finally doing my Vision Boards if it weren’t for my having hired a guy to come work with me Friday through Sunday to completely redo the offices… (more…)

Small Business Coach – Be the 1st Millionaire in Your Family tm

Greetings Emerging Conscious Millionaires,

Many of you know my story of how I grew up in a family that frequently had financial problems and challenges — and as a response to this environment, at the age of five I decided that when I grew up, I would become a Millionaire. And, I became a millionaire in my 20′s.

Now I coach entrepreneurs and business owners. What occurred to me is that everyone of them grew up in similar situations and have also set their goal on becoming a millionaire, in fact, worth millions.

I thought about what it means to be 1st – starting with the 1st millionaire to the 1st to fly across the Atlantic, 1st to step foot on the moon, 1st to create a small computer that everyday people could have on their desk, the 1st to excel at anything!!

Today’s blog is on the Consciousness of Abundance

Unfortunately, instead of easily making profits and becoming successful, many entrepreneurs remain stuck in a scarcity mindset. This is a mindset of lack—a set of beliefs that there isn’t enough: time, resources, customers, talent, opportunities, or money to go around.

When entrepreneurs buy into these scarcity beliefs, they often begin to struggle, feel frustrated, and start telling themselves they are worthless, that they will never accomplish much with their lives. They may beat themselves up emotionally and feel like giving up. Scarcity thinking can even result in feeling like a victim instead of being in charge of your life and business. Have you ever felt this way?

Small Busines Coach – New Media Expo Las Vegas Jan 2013

Welcome Emerging Conscious Millionaires,

In January I attended the New Media Expo, NMX, in Las Vegas. Ok, I have to admit I went two days ahead of time and spent time at the Bellagio – yes, I had an amazing time. On the personal side I had exceptional dinners at Le Cirque and Yellowtail and saw both “O” and “Love” shows by Cirque Du Soleil. Everyone needs play time

There were upwards of 1,000 people at the expo and I had the great fortune of meeting some incredible people and starting new friendships. In fact a mastermind evolved out of several associations. We just began our new mastermind last Friday. That speaks to the quality of entrepreneurs in attendance.

Guy Kawasaki spoke and we each received a Kindle version of his new book “A P E” – find it on Amazon http://amzn.to/XGZbJl It’s a 300 page book on how to write, self-publish, and market your book. If you are considering writing a book or are at any phase of writing and self-publishing, I highly recommend his new book.

This is THE event for people who blog, podcast, utilize video online or in any way utilize the numerous forms of new media and social media online. The quality of people in attendance was very high – many notable gurus in the space.

I first discovered Guy’s writings when I read “Selling the Dream” and then later when I read, and wrote all over, “The Art of the Start”. Although I had started several companies by the time I read it, I found his approach to add much needed depth and dimension to literature in this genre.

Utilize these questions to guide you as you write out a description of your ideal business.

Describe the type of business you envision owning in three years. If you currently own a business, notice any differences from the present in terms of who you serve, what products you offer, and how you operate.

What is the overarching purpose or vision for your business? Think of this in terms of a higher purpose that goes beyond just making money. How will you help or transform your clients – the people, business, or organizations you help.

Small Business Coach – Your Ideal Millionaire Life!

Dear Emerging Conscious Millionaire,

Over the next three weeks, I’ll be blogging about the three aspects of your Ideal Millionaire Life. These are your Ideal Life, Ideal Business, and Ideal Position (what you do day to day in your business).

You probably have three motives for choosing to become an entrepreneur. One of these is your desire to create profits and become financially free. Given that you are attracted to Conscious Millionaire, it’s likely that another motive is to achieve a greater good by providing products and services that make a difference for others and our world.

Your third motive for becoming an entrepreneur is almost certainly to acquire the money, enjoy the time off, and have the freedom to enjoy your ideal life. Another way to think of your ideal life is your life at a 10! However, the only way you will experience your life at a 10 is to first define, in sensory rich detail (see it, hear the sounds, feel it), what that means for you.
