What is a frame? It is your way of seeing things. Think of it as your belief system about a situation.
What is an NLP reframe? It is simply changing your beliefs about the situation.
SMALL BUSINESS COACHING
Example: situation is you had a valued employee who helped with sales suddenly leave.
Old Frame: now I am going to lose money because he/she will be hard to replace. This is going to be horrible.
NLP Reframe: someone is going to come into my company that will be even better for us and will result in even higher sales and profits.
After re-framing, then start acting on this new frame by both actively looking for this person and being optimistic about finding them!

If you want to maximize your wealth, then always – ALWAYS – turning situations that you could interpret as negative into positive opportunities will help you make more money.
Teaching your team members to also reframe for the positive will help you make even more money!
NLP BUSINESS COACH
Here is a simple 3 step way to reframe any situation:
- Determine the positive intent of your “old frame” – the one that appears negative (it may be something like protecting you from losses.)
- Ask the creative part of your mind to generate new ways of seeing the situation and new ways of behaving to still achieve your goals.
- Ask that part to give you the new frame and determine if it is in your highest and best interest to engage in the new behaviors (if not, then generate another new frame.)
